A little over a year ago I did a B16A GenII swap on my Del Sol. The shop that put it in could not get a hold of a shift linkage to fit so they modified my old one. I didn't like the way that it shifted so I ordered a Hasport. I put that on and it shifted great for a couple of weeks. All of a sudden it started to get hard to shhift again. I took it to the shop and they said that it is fine but I know that it's not. It's to the point now where it wount even go into gear sometimes. Any ideas as to what it might be? The clutch doesn't seem to be slipping so I'm lost.

 

It could be something to do with the shift bushings, even though they are new, but i'm just guessing. I'm fixing to go change mine right now.

 

Is it just kind of hard to get into gear? Sounds like your pressure plate is going, mine did the same thing.

 

Yea its just hadr to get into gear, sometimes it will grind when I try to put it in gear. But mostly just doesn't want to go into gear.

 

Yep sounds like you left the old clutch setup in there. Bleed your Hydrolic lines for the clutch.
