How To Change Interior Lightning!!!?
Hey guys,
I was driving tonight out n about cruising and enjoying the nice weather... listening to music and watching some video clips on my JVC head unit (JVC KD-AVX2) which is the dvd player with an 3.5" screen (Pretty awesome)!!!
Anyways, i stopped a traffic light till this VW Golf pulls next to me and looked at the interior dash lightening and loved how it looked... I want mine to look like that
... Can anyone help me to change from orange interior color to something like blue lights... Oh, by the way i have a Honda Civic 96
Now my head unit lights up bright blue so i want to match that with my dash... could someone please tell me the steps and what i need to do? Also, the cluster lightning, is that a film behind the lights or do i need to change the bulbs to change the color? and most importantly, how do i get to the center dash lightening (just under the dvd player part???????
Hope to hear from someone very soon please!!!
Cheers guys,
Johnny.

i asked about that and a computer nerd friend of mine said they get to hot for that...even if you used a high temp paint the could withstand the heat the color more than likey would be so dark that light wouldnt be bright at all.....i replaced 4 of the bulbs.....they had gray bases and it looks like it only affected the miles and trip miles lighting...i had to buy diff. bulbs that fit into the bases but had larger bulb heads than used the smallest bubl condom they had and push it in where it caught in between the lip of the bas and the bulb so it would stay secure(also changed a single bulb that was a 194 with a LED bulb i already had)....i'll take a pic of the results....the two main ones i need to change are at the very top and are the smaller bulbs...anyone know a site i can them from? or a part number to try to get them off ebay? its a 00 civic si if that heelps
hmmmmmNot a chance!!! It will be like painting your eye balls
h: lol
well the problem is actually finding a small enough bulb condom....hum that might sound familiar to some:jawdrop: anyways i just wonder what the bulb number is....i found some on ebay...are these what i need?(there 74/37 bulbs)

just get all new bulbs not bulb condoms..bulb condoms will work but are harder to find IMO. look at the link i posted and look waht WESTCOASTSTLYLE posted and he showed how he found a pack of bulbs.look for those.
