i'll be putting a washer and nut at the bottom of the bolt and the bolt is 10mm. it will fit in a 10mm hole according to the template; it snugs in well with the bar. i'll start doing it today and see how it goes.

 

it's all about how the car is currently sitting like this "U" while it's on the ground.. if you jack it up off the ground from the center, it will sit like this "_".. just look it up for a better explaination.. the frame & everything is sitting differently while it's on the ground vs. when it's jacked up on center.

i just finished installing the bar (didn't have time other days), altogether it took about 15mins-20mins max -- drilling and bolting it in. it looks good!

 

hopfully u jacked the car up from teh center of the frame as stated earlier, if not, you wasted your time & the holes were drilled in the wrong spot.

 

yes, i did. i had it on jack stands.

He's saying jack up your tire because you don't want a damn drill bit going through your tire and into your rim, unless of course YOU do then that's your perogative...personally I would take the tire off...Then remove the plastic fender well because it will be in the way. Then simply drill your holes, use 10 mm bolts and put fender washers on the bottom side of it. Put the plastic fender well back on and then the tire and take it off jacks and enjoy the "twisties"
