the B18C1 I just put in my 5th gen sedan had to use 4 new mounts of the 5

the upper driver's side
the AC mount (only if you want to keep your AC, otherwise the GSR (P72) one will work)
the rear tortion mount
the lower tranny mount

All will need to be GSR unless you want to keep your AC which will need to be swapped to a '94+ DelSol DOHC VTEC mount (P52)

FYI
Uh, the b18c1 I put in my 5th gen hatch a couple weeks ago went in with no modifications. Don't know what your problem is.

I'm not trying to challenge you on this, but I know for a fact that the lower tranny mount is differnet.

It has a triangle pattern to it while the civic tranny mount is an odd shaped triangle, that one has to be changed to GSR for sure.

Also, the rear tortion mount is different, the mount points are different on the tranny/motor...

don't make be break out my camera and prove this one.

I just installed this engine, and I didn't touch any of the mounts, including the rear mount. I slapped a poly insert in it and installed the engine. Granted, I didn't keep my AC (94 cx).

so, you mean to tell me that you used the civic mounts on a B18C1 swap?

It's impossible man... serously. You may have used all GSR mounts, but the only civic mount that will work is the upper tranny mount...

I just went out and looked at my civic mounts and there is no way that the rear tortion mount, upper driver's side mount, or lower tranny mount will even bolt to the B18C1 block or tranny.

I'll take some pics so we can finalize this.

If I'm wrong, I'm man enough to admit it, but I just don't see how I could be considering I have the proof right in my garage.

My garage is 45 minutes away so I doubt I could get pics before this weekend, but I know for a fact that I did not modify the rear mount.

Which trans mount are you talking about? On the bracket or on top?

Not the top one that bolts near the strut tower, the lower front one that bolts to the frame (the 14mm bolts go up vertically into the frame) and the 3 17mm bolts go horizontally into the transmission.

Just to clarify, you're saying you used all of the stock '94 civic mounts and no GSR mounts right?

I have a B18B in my Civic CX, and I didn't need to change any of the motor mounts, they mount straight up to the civic mounts. I know if you are doing an auto to manual conversion you do have to change one of the transmission mounts.

Yep... that would be the Place racing mount, as pictured here in the left side...
