Default help with starting problem

I'm working on a 92 civic and it went from starting and running great to not starting overnight.
It cranks over fine, the fuel pump is working, I have spark to plug, fuel filter is clean, new main relay and fuses look ok.
It has to be some sensor or relay to injectors? Hope you guys can help as I'm out of ideas.

Thanks to all
oak

it sounds crazy no one belives me but pull your fuel rail you and a freind hold the injectors into the fuel rail and put a couple of rags under them and a 3rd freind starts the car you shold see a good spary come out of the injectors its a shade tree way to check injector firing(ther is a injector resitor that gos bad on some cars i think a 92 has one or your computer is not firing the injectors) if you have a test light you can also tap into the ground side of the injector use a safty pin and hold test light to the pin dont jam the test light int the injector harnes and hook the test lights other end up to the ground side of the batery start the car you will see the light fliker it could also be an a/f problem let me know if you have injector fire

thing you need to run a car compresion, fuel psi, injector puls, spark, dry plugs, cam timeing good, spark timing good, and the rite a/f mix(no vac leaks stuck iac or egr. a good map,tdc sensor, rpm sensor, cam position sensor(tdc, rpm, cmp are all in the dizzy)and a good computer). if you have spark your computer is probly fine and your tdc, rpm, and cmp should be fine. can you hear your pump ther is a 2 second run with key on.

The fuel pump is fine and I know I have fuel coming out of the fuel filter.Spark looks good. What can cause this to happen overnight? Seems to me a fuel problem would give some warning. I keep thinging it has to be electronic?

thanks

Thanks berginr
When I try and start the car and after it cranks for a while I do smell a strong gas smell. How do I check or repair this if it is the cause?
Thanks

I've had the same issue on my 86 Crx and my 92 Si....both times I pulled the plugs...put some oil in each cylinder and it fired up fine...smoked like bandit for a while though...I attribute it to compression issues...my 92 has been running fine the last 200k, don't ask me.....but my mechanic told be about this trick..been working so who knows?

you could try checking fuel psi after engine off if it drops off fast you probly have leaking injectors a injector flush would help or pull the injectors and check for carbon bild up also if you have a lot of fuel on your spark plugs this would cause a now start .did you get it started yet? the problem could just be you plugs if you smell fuel you are fluded and you plugs are probly bad now raplace the plugs and blow out the cylinders with compres air or just un plug all the injectors start the engine with the plugs out to blow out all that gas make shure your plug wires are away from the plug holes or you will have a four cylinder flame thrower then when you re start after instaling new plug go gas pedle to the floor.if it starts after cleaning out the cylinder and replaysing the plugs but then fails overnight again its the injectors.hope this will help
