The Base RSX engine has little to no potential when it comes to making power without a lot of money being dumped into it....

sure it is, but you'd still have to dump a lot of money into the swap itself

Base model K20A3 comes with 160 hp.
That's 20 less than JDM B18C.
So you can look at it 2 ways...You can sell the K for possibly even $2k, but then you're $500-$800 short of buying the B18C. And if it's going into a sol than the linkage and cv axles should fit in the sol, on the other hand, with the K, you would have to get custom ones to fit. B would definatly be your better choice, but if you're on a budget, stick with what you already have.

yea base k20 is worthless, exspecialy if its not even a complete swap. To get a decent trans on there is gonna cost a pretty penny. The hasport mounts are gonnna set you have atleast 400 bucks. Then your gonna need the ecu and what ever wiring to get it to work. Like every one else is saying id say sell it off and go B series, because unless youve got the deep pockets the k series is still expsensive to install into older cars, and the base k20 definently wont be worth it in the end.

yeah I bleieve hasport makes custom axles for it but i'm not sure...for about the same amount you can put the k into the sol, you can buy a complete swap jdm b18c and have so much more power...unless you're looking into building internals...then you're into a whole new boat.
