Default 93 civic si check engine help

Alright so i ahve a 93 civic si just got it and while driving from texas to denver, where i go to school, the check engine light came on, and it turns off for a bit when i restart the car so i get to school and try to check then code, and i can't find that freaking plug!! i have looked every on the right side of the car by the ec. I've taken out the glove box, the carpet and have pulled at wires and nothing if anyone get can me advice on where to find this thing i will be eterntlly thankful. That and can an auto store checker thingy chekc an obd1 car?

Nah the Autozone only checks for OBD2...I would check behind your center console

where abck there i already looked behind and searched for any non connected wires

If i'm not mistaken, if its the same as my prelude....It should be "clipped" somewhere behind the console
