time for new tires!
Ok I bought my tires back in December 2001 and now they are really worn out. I was using Potenza RE910 @ 205/45/16 400 treadwear. They are nothing in terms of performance but, I will say they last a damn good amount of time. I didnt do any at all racing but, just simple old lady driving about 10k-12k a year. I loved how I could rotate the tires in any direction. Shame that they are disscontinued.
Question is.. what is out there now that is comparable to my Potenzas? The model above mine being the RE930 was directional. I really dont want a directional tire.

I've been a fan of Michelin MXV-4's for years now.
No, they are:
not a balls-out performance tire.
Yes,:
they are good in the rain and snow.
they have long treadwear.
Honda uses them from the factory on a few models.
they are non-directional.
they are expensive. h:
I have them on my RX-7, and I've had them on another RX-7, an Integra and a Civic in the past, nevermind how many other vehicles I've test driven with them. It is an excellent all-season tire with good handling touches.
Note: I DO NOT recommend this as a performance tire.

Toyo Proxes 4. All season tires but they had a boat load of grip (surprisingly) and did very well in the winter.
