Default Keys Gettin Stuck in Ignition

i own a 2000 honda civic Lx automatic.
and recently my keys been starting to get stuck in the ignition, i doesnt let me turn it down to remove the keys, it pushes in, but doesnt go down.
anyone know a sloution?

Check the neutral safety switch. If it fails, the car will not let the key out.

It is a common failure for 90-93 automatic Integras, odd that a new Civic is doing that.

where is that switch located?

It should be in the shifter assembly, below the shift lever.

put a shot of graphit in it, this will lube the pins inside.
