THe motors are different, the itr has about 200 crank horse power while the ctr has 185 or 190 chp, and then there is the torque which is only about 15-20 foot lbs. difference.
Is their any specific info your looking for or just curious?

just thinking out loud...

if you put the same motor in 2 body styles of a car (different weights) and dnyo'd them, would they show the same HP?

Is this why the HP diff on those 2 cars? Same motor just different power/weight ratio?

both motors were different displacement and had different cam profiles. the ctr motor was a 1.6 b16b, while the itr had is a 1.8 b18c, weight of a vehical has nothing to do with power output of a motor at the flywheel
