Default indicator signal clicking noise for no reason!

Hey I just bought a 93 Civic DX off a guy, and there is a annoying clicking noise. It is the exact same noise as when you signal your indicator. Also, when I do signal my indicator or turn on my hazard lights, the irregular noise stops and the regular flashing noise takes its place.

ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THIS IS AND HOW TO FIX IT?

The turn signal switch is loose in the socket. If you hold it just right you can stop the noise.
I had an extra one, so I just swapped it in, but I think my other one could have been fixed.

The stalk on the column is the switch I was talking about. You have to remove the steering covers and pop it out (careful of the SRS).

Have you tried to hold it in a position to stop the clicking?

First I would buy a manual. I use Haynes, it seems to work fine for me. You may have disable the SRS by inserting the blank plug under the steering cover. Remove the steering wheel cover, pull out the indicater stalk, reverse.

I know the first time I did this, it took me alittle while to figure out how the indicater came out, but it may be one screw or something, I really don't remember.

Sorry I'm being so vague, I just don't remember the exact proceedure, so if anyone else wants to add to this, feel free.
