i was wornderin if anybody has superchargers a civic cos imn thinkin about puttin one on my stock 97 lx civic..ima get it from Jackson Racing and i wanna knwo if thats a good company and if its worth it to buyin and would it bolt on with no MODS????any info would be helpful thanks...

my friend had one on his del slow... but.. i dont think it was put on right.. gave him an idle problem and CHEWED up timing belts

 

the like the leading supercharger company for imports form what ive seen so there good but you might want to do some mods to your car so it can handle the boost better or your not going to be able to put more than 8 psi on it and still keep the engine reliable and not brake down on you going down the road.

 

Turbo is better.

 

Not worth the $3000 IMO for an extra 40 hp.

 

My old sales manager at Best Buy supercharged his SOHC civic. He liked it, but he likes his EVO 8 more now that he sold the civic and bought that.

Jackson Racing superchargers are utter fucking garbage..and a blower on a civic is retarded...turbo it.

 

i had a single vtec bubble and i added a jrsc it ran great 6-8 lbs with header exhaust intake msds blue top injectors with aem fuel rail and regulator and a walbro fuel pump ran really good in my opinion its good safe hp
