Default Energy Suspension inserts

So after a bunch of searching, I found this write-up. I replaced my bottom driver side mount because it was busted, but it didn't feel as strong as it should be, so I got these to aid. It looks like I have to poke a hole the stock mount to get the tie to go through. I had no friggin clue how these were supposed to go on. I know I'll have to use a hook to pull down the tie when I put it back on.

Anything to look out for? I've read about the vibration and such, so anything else to watch out for? The pics cut and dry?

dood those zip ties has an beginnin piece and an end piece. the one with the zip cord goes thru, and the back side recieves just the square piece, cuz now ur zip line is interferin with the hole. but other then that, its pretty cut and dry. the interior vibrates more but u will reduce ur wheel hop and have better acceleration off the line. have fun.

What the fuck is that supposed to mean?!? The directions are a little piece of paper that really didn't explain the zip ties. Why do you think this forum is here? The pics are from a thread I found, so I wanted to know if it was done right. :slap:

Ok, cool. But the inserts have holes in them, and stock mount doesn't. Do I put a hole through the stock mount and continue like in the picture? Thank for the help, yo.

I have the same motor mount bushings. If you notice the picture one zip tie goes through one hole and ANOTHER goes through the other. What you did was cover the hole so now you cannot reinstall the mount back into the car unless you cut the zip tie.

:slap:I don't think you're reading this properly. The pics you see are from a thread I found. They are not my pics . The guy did mention to take a hook and stretch the zip tie down so you can put it back on. My question is if you have to poke a hole in the stock mount to get the zip tie through.

Thanks for helping me out

No, you do not have to poke a hole in the stock mount. It is not solid. I would desribe it as webbed.

I must be a jackass :hs: How the heck does the zip tie go from one side to the other if it doesn't go through the stock mount? I'm smart. I promise. I just don't get it.

The mount inserts will stiffen up the movement of the engine, but they will also transfer viberation through the whole car, so be prepared to get some vibrations.
