If you guys really feel like it I'll PM you my paypal account. You don't have to send me money and I'm not encouraging that you do, but if you do, I would be forever grateful and would definetly reimburse the money sometime in the future.

every time i read a turbo thread i get all teary eyed cause i am at the stage where im on the fence about to fall off either side. do i contiune? or do i sell my shit? Turbo i have needs a rebuild and log manifold needs to be ported cause its restrictive just by looking at it. I dont have an ecu, dont have any charge pipes, no oil lines, no bov, no intercooler. i dunno, i really want to do it though...

yeah, thats where i got my turbo and manifold. Im just discourraged due to not having another vehicle to drive while im working on it plus i ran out of money because i had to pay for school. so right now i just need to get motivated again so next summer i can get this shit done. by then though my car will likely have close to 190k on it. so i dunno

Go to xenocron.com. You can convert a non-vtec ecu to vtec for 20$ with his kit and a EPROM chiping kit for like 30$. It's what I did when I ran into financial problems and couldn't shell out the money for a p28.
Store.racing-solutions.org has a charge pipe kit for 50$. Just gotta mock up and weld everything yourself. Oil lines are 80$ from stealthmodeperformance.com, a 1G dsm bov is like 40$ on ebay, an intercooler can range from 10-150$ on ebay.

Before the turbo problem arose I did my whole kit for 850$. I replaced the manifold, turbo, and wastegate and the total came to 1049$. That's for everything. Every nut, bolt, washer, vacuum hose.

I only have my hatchback. It is a real gamble trying to turn your only car into a race car. Everything has to go right the 1st shot around. In the last 4 days I've taken taken the stock shit off and put the turbo on and back 3 times. Sucks but it's a passion.
