Sweet grandmother's spatula! Ya, even a newb like myself can tell those pistons are screwed. So there's no way to protect the CAI, or do I just have to be careful and, like, get my car baptized or blessed or sumthin?

CAI aint all that bad. just watch out for puddles and what nots.
i mean if u drive into a puddle and ur CAI acts like a straw.... u deserve it..

stock airbox + k&n drop-in filter ftw

cai's and short rams don't produce enough to justify the expense

its the truth, the only real restriction on the stock system is the filter, so like he said, just switch that shit out.

besides, filter on a stick looks tacky in a stock engine bay

if anything else, consider swapping in the integra airbox.
