Default JDM ecu, UDSM harness

Can i use a usdm gsr/si harness with the JDM ecu that comes with the complete swap? Or will it not match up, because its backwards? So that means i either have to go udsm with both harness and ecu... 96 and above (not sure yet) B18C (GSR) --> 99 ex, auto to manual conv.

Im adding a quick question, mount wise, i only need a rear si tranny mount, and an ac mount from a del sol si, correct? I do NOT need a drivers side mount, or any others for that matter?

good luck finding a del sol ac bracket...
you can use the integra ac bracket, you just have to use 2 of the 4 bolts.
it will hold with 2 bolts just fine....

So the integra will fit fine with my ac, just use two bolts instead of all four? What about do i only need those two mounts, and no others, no front tranny or drivers side from teg or si? Thanks for clearing the ac up. What about the ecu/harness question?

right, just need rear si mounts, can resuse driver side mount. maybe have to use the front tranny mount if it came with the swap. pass side mount you can reuse.

you can find a del sol a/c bracket from the dealer, also heard you can use a crv b-series a/c bracket. or try honda-tech.com classified ads to find a del sol bracket

id rather get the del sol bracket, just knowing my a/c compressor is only held on by two bolts instead of four doesnt sit well with me even if it does stay. if youre gonna do something do it right.

yeah you can use a usdm harness with a jdm ucu.

Dude thanks much for clearing that up, thank you. I guess im ok with the ac thing, i mean if it stays it stays, two bolts to four. Can always use duck tape. Ill see which one is cheaper, because it doesnt really matter to me.

So the udsm harness is all i need then, and that will fit directly to the JDM ecu and work fine, no wires need to be added and no re-arranging? Just plug and play? (that term is used to literally, i know its not that easy) Also i wont need a conversion harness (OBD to OBD) because im using engine, harness, and ecu from the same OBD years, correct? If its cool i would like to put a run-down on here of everything ive got on my list and what im using for this swap and auto to manual conversion if you guys would like to give your input or advice. Thanks very much.

Just wanted to give you guys a run-down, incase you can help me out or let me know of any other parts i might need, thanks.

96-01 (OBD2, not sure if a or b yet) B18C GSR --> 99 ex (auto to manual conversion)

Complete B18C GSR swap 96-01 (engine, trans, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, ecu, harness although im not using it, axles, LSD, etc.)
Rear civic si 99-00 tranny mount
Air compressor mount from 94-97 del sol si or GSR
Possibly front tranny mount if comes with swap, but dont technically need it correct?
Complete pedal kit including clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, hydraulic lines, brake and clutch pedals, clutch lines, reservoir from various manual civics or tegs, and im re-using my throttle cable and gas pedal i think.
Using B18C ecu, but buying a manual usdm gsr or si harness so i dont have to deal with re-arranging the harness.
Manual shift linkage mount from hasport or just welding one on so the shift linkage lines up correctly with the shifter (by the way, the shifter and linkage should line up right, i mean not sit to far back in my console, i can always just cut it back farther or farther forward but im just wondering...)
Possibly some kind of cat so that my evo2 ex. can match up with the integras header, or if i can using the meg. racing header from my civic now.
Am i missing anything, please let me know?

Quick question- can honda/acura motors be cherry-picked from the top, or do they need to be dropped from the bottem, stupid question, but my step grandpa brought that up to me and hes the one whos going to be lending it to me so i just wanted to clarify it.

Thanks for all your help.
