Default coilover vs. spring/adj. strut

I am putting an h22 in my sol and i wanna get some suggestions on my suspension setup. Im thinking either kyb adj. struts wrapped in skunk2 lowering springs, front and back. or full skunk2 coilovers.
Which sounds better? Anyone reading this actually have an h22 in there eg? If so how is your suspension set up?

Or you could do the ever popular Ground Control and Koni setup. You could get custom spring rates to compensate for your heavier H22 up front. But if it's just between the Skunk2 stuff, I'd go with the full coil-overs if you can afford it.

So what is the difference in a full coil over and have an ajdustable strut/spring? I really dont know anything about coilovers, Ive delt with ajustable struts a decent about, so what is the advantage of having a coilover setup? i know that you can adjust height but thats all i know. And i know with the adj. struts i was lookin at, you can control the rebound and the stiffness of the ride quility.

a full coilover setup with dampenin adjustability allows for adjustment for height and stiffness. it is also a 1 piece replacement its a full drop in replacement.

a springs/adjustable shocks setup is exactly that. a fixed ride height and the ability to adjust stiffness and you have to reuse some of the oem parts to reassemble it together for a drop in installation.

the big difference in the two comes down to what r you gonna do with ur car? sure a springs/shocks setup can be cheaper dependin on what brands you go with. a full coilover setup from such names as ksport(i have these, and they ride awesome), d2, omni, apexi, tien, ect. ksports starts around 600 thats what i got em for 6 months ago, the price has risen since. the omnis are always a good value, pricing has stayed the same for them around the 7-8 range. do some research and find out what you will use ur car for and that will help narrow ur selection down.

How much are you lookin to spend. We manuf. a setup that is made specifically for the del sol with the h22 swap. I also have setups made for EK and DC2 with K-series swaps in them. Going with a full coilover is the best bang for the buck. It's a full complete replacement. All you have to use is your front forks. There is no type of assembly, no sleeves going to break free, etc..
