how do i wire indiglow gauges ?

Default how do i wire indiglow gauges ?

anyone know how to wire these things ?
theres a red wire and theres a black wire ... where do i hook it on to on the cluster or whatever ?

use an incandescent test light and probe the wires behind the cluster - find the wire that goes hot when you turn the headlight switch on. then ground the black wire.

I wired the red wire to the dash fuse (from the fuse box). The black I wrapped on a piece of metal.

uhh im lost ... soo i gotta find a wire in the back of the cluster or play around with a fuse ?? anyone with a 92-95 civic that can help me pinpoint the acual wire that i gotta mess with ?

Ah let me try clarify.
I have a 99 LX. After putting in the gauges, I wrapped the end of the red wire to the "Dash Light" fuse in the fusebox (located on the left hand side of the dash, by your clutch leg). The black end I wrapped onto a bolt (thats the ground wire).
I bought it two years ago. It was cool. Bite me.

this should clear it up for you

that link is for a mustang, but you get the idea of how to wire your indiglos. it's the exact same thing only use the plugs behind the gauge cluster instead of going to the headlight switch (since it's in the steering column)
