I had no idea that it made THAT much of a difference. Just imagine properly tuned ITR cams over the GSR cams. I have seen over 100 whp gains on very high HP motors just by switching from B16 cams to ITR cams.

Wow that would be nice.

Crower makes a nice set of stageII cams. It has the higher lift and short duration.

but ur right, the itr cams are optimal for most any street setup. im not sure if people have bee nhaving good luck with other casm similarto them or turbo cams. iknow one guy on honda-tech was running some sort of JUN cam for intake then some other cam on the exhaust and he was only making 3whp more top end over what his ITRs did. but i guess his mid range is a lil more responsive, bottom endgot worse, but with 600whp, less bottom end just means traction
oh, and evan did do a test of itr's over gsr cams and the its were better all over the power band and an average of about 15-20 whp more i wanna say, the torque was nice too.

I understand that this is a boosted engine, but changing the b16 cams to GSR cams,or even ITR/CTR would have a similar effect on a N/A setup?

Maybe a few hp, but not as drastic as a boosted motor.
