Default ebay taillights will not fit (help)

i have a 92 civic 4 door dx


Hi everyone I"m new here.. I purchased these taillights off ebay and they will not fit part of it sticks out i tried cuting the tail lights but that did not work

isnt there a rubber piece that goes around the taillight?

no i just got them like that

some parts have a smaller gap they just wont stick in the inside, they are slightly off from my oem taillights

i think these lights where molded wrong

he has some All sales are final and s/h is non-refundable stuff

thats why you dont buy aftermarket bumpers, headlights, lips, etc...

re-sell them on ebay. put your oem tails back in and we will all be happy!

Welcome to the wonderful world of poorly fitting aftermarket parts...


One of the main reasons why Im glad I went JDM... Most of my parts are OEM... Only main (exterior) part that isnt is my carbon fiber hood, which is a ViS, and it still fit like ass and took abit of working to get it to work...

Anyways, about your problem, it could be one of 2 things... A design flaw that will allow it to just not fit perfectly (usually the case)... Or your car was hit in the passed and wasnt aligned perfectly...

ya the car was hit in the pass, But my OEM taillights fit perfect ?

2 . whats JDM..stand for ?

3. EM1 I orderd those halo black headlights for my civic about a year ago
they look good they turned my civic to a bmw. Oh" the fit was OK
