Default Forced INduction Alternative

I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is any alternative to a supercharger or a turbocharger. I don't mean that crappy shit you see on ebay, but like a real honest to goodness alternative that will give you a 30-40% increase in HP.

you should try an electric supercharger, i heard they add some hp and every time you snap a fan blade it adds a couple more hp...

Electric superchargers are junk, and i don't consider nitrous forced induction.

you want a 30-40% increase in HP without a supercharger, turbo, or naaawwwzzz. Well then my answer is get out and push. Since you probably lack the knowledge and/or money to do any of those there is no sense in trying anything else. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

With that short sighted ranting, the technology we have now is all we'll ever have. I was wondering, since the supercharger was invented in the early 1900's and the turbo is pretty old too, if there has been some other groundbreaking new technology that amplify the power of the engine. I know things have been done to the turbo charger and supercharger that make them more efficient, but i've just been curious since we made alot of technological progress in the last 20 years. Maybe you guys just haven't heard of it yet, but there is something else out there.
