Default Over Heating Civic

This civic has a new radiator, and new thermostat. When I rode on the highway yesterday I was fine temperature wise until I stopped. When I stopped for a toll the car heated up. What is going on. I added water to the radiator and then went out for along time on the highway and then when I stopped for traffic it overheated again.any ideas?

Sounds like your fan isn't kicking on....check to make sure it is when sitting....check fan connector, temp sensors are hooked up.

Any visible leaks from inbetween the head and block?

Coolant level still good?

Are both radiator hoses hot? Or just top?
