I'm not saying anything bad about the b20. I wont try and talk you out of doing what you want either. What i would do is sleeve the block for starters. It does cost more money to sleeve than any other b series block though. When i had mine i wanted to go closed deck sleeves and i called Darton and they stopped making them cause of problems. I dunno what said problems were but thats jsut what they said to me on the phone.
