the bumpiness/stiffness you feel is cause of the rate of the sitff springs. yes the drop effects it. but between sportline and prokit I doubt its much. with new shocks, the recoil (bouncing back) of the springs will be softer and make the ride alot smoother.

you'd be a liar if you put on springs and said the ride didn't get harsher, no matter what kind.
