The k20 is a tight fit into the civic so your gonna have to go custom on this to get it to work. No off the shelft kit is gonna bolt up. If you know what your doing with boost then building a kit should be fairly simple, just gonna be alot of custom fab work. IF by some chance you have no idea about the ins and out of boosting any kind of motor, then i would check out Homemadeturbo.com and read about stuff. You should be able to get the answers you need.
Again, this is gonna be a pricey, custom job, its gonna be powerfull, but you could get the same numbers boosting a b series, and the work would be much more straight forward

Me and a friend put one in his hatch and it took about 2 weeks because of how tight of an area we had to work in. after we finished we added up cost and it was like $2500. but we had a good intercooler hi/low boost controller, sleeper series wastegate and blowoff valves, and all the lines were powder coated black, so it might not be that expensive for u:thumbup: The price of the turbo isn't included cause we already had one he was going to put on the B18c befroe he blew it

This is true. I am not talking you out of the k20 swap but its more newbee freindly to swap a b-series in and boost it, anyhow its alot cheaper.

Agree on not boosting K series. The extra money you would have spent on the K series can go into better parts and tuning for the turbo and yield more hp in the end.

Totally. K series motor are cool and everything but the price tag doesn't justify it at all.

My buddy just tuned his stock motor is his 99' si to 380whp on only 14 psi. He will be getting a high boost tune here in a bit. It is a stock em1 with a bone stock b16a2 motor that is turboed and running neptune.

There's absolutely no reason to do a K series swap when you have a perfectly good B series in the car already.
