have you picked up a trunk lid lately? They're not heavy, I doubt you'd be saving more than a few lbs by spending all that money.

 

Well if the insurance is paying for a new lid anyway, i opted for the carbon fiber model but i'm just going with stocker though. I'm going to take more pics today and put them up.

 

wow thats horrible, and GOOD decision on not taking it to that guy. he would do a piss poor job, cheap paint, barely any prep, etc (i work for a sack of shit like that at a paint and body shop) BUT if i were you i would sue the piss out of the guy that charged me with a 2x4, as well as deport his ass. thats also another reason i keep a knife in my pocket (petite girls gotta have protection other than guys/bodyguards)
