well this is my problem my car started with me giving it throttle and it would turn on then the car would try to idle and shut off we tried it agen and it would do the same thing after the third time it wouldnt start i took it to a near by mechanic he said no signal from the ECM going to the Injectors and no spark from the spark plugs (had to push car 5 blocks up hills with oncoming TRAFFIC) and well this is day 2 of this problem any SUggestiong ANY answers to this PROBLEM no injector SIGNAL and no spark from Spark plug wires HELP ASAP !!!!! I have a 98 honda civic DX hatchback

 

Motor swap? Try a different ecu.

 

Nope no motor swap just a regular D16y7 bitching at me

 

Check the Yel/Blk wires going into the injectors. They should be hot (batt. voltage) with the switch in the run position. If not, check to see if you have a short. The injectors work on a switched ground system along with the IACV. The power to this ultimately comes from A11 and A24 out of the ECU. I had a problem with mine that sounds similar with an open to the juction block on the back of the engine.
