nothing what?...no heat? over heats? leaks? if it is just no heat....fill up your radiator.....if it leaks...find out where....if it overheats...get the air out of your motor by running the car to operating temp with the radiator cap off.

if you replaced the thermo...and no coolant leaked out....fill up your car with the right 50 coolant 50 water mixture.

I was going to mention this as well...

Which part? The "haven't worked on a Honda in over a year" part, or the thermostat.... hehehe...

maybe this would be good advice if it was one of the first (like when jafro said it up there) but you agree with this eventhough we got a lot farther by talking more about this subject. even if he did put the thermo in backwards he stated that no coolant came out while he loosened up his top radiator hose. this means he doesnt have a lot of coolant...which results in cold air blowing from vents. with the cold air blowing from vents....that is why he thought he had to replace the thermo. bottom line is he has no coolant.

basically i am just saying is that you are very late to agree with a possible solution when we are already passed that point of the forum

Hey man, I'm just pluggin' the fact that Josh is now rolling in a Lexus, an like me (who sold his civic) he might not have worked on a Honda in over a year.

I take for granted the fact that everyone should know their coolant system doesn't work well with air in it.

Wow, you do an excecllent job of stating the obvious. I've noticed this about the last few posts you've made. :goodjob:

This problem could be a result of a number of potential issues. I think those that have posted have well covered the obvious issues, but the fact that a potentially inocrrecly installed thermostat could be the culprit in this situation. Thanks again for the well-informed post, captain obvious. :wiggle:

hey...that was what i was going to say...darn...you beat me to it.

see how stupid that all sounds? and my posts are informative. tis a lot better then saying...i was going to say that. bottom line....he knows his problem now

nothing was meant towards you jafro.....you state a good possible culprit to the problem but then here comes west coast style a little (a lot i should say) late and he just takes your thoughts. if west coast would have read on he should of known better to think that "thermo backwards" was the problem

i might be a noob in post counts towards yours....but then again....you have noob responses to problems. so maybe your post count is from questions that you ask instead of solving others problems?
