maybe this would be good advice if it was one of the first (like when jafro said it up there) but you agree with this eventhough we got a lot farther by talking more about this subject. even if he did put the thermo in backwards he stated that no coolant came out while he loosened up his top radiator hose. this means he doesnt have a lot of coolant...which results in cold air blowing from vents. with the cold air blowing from vents....that is why he thought he had to replace the thermo. bottom line is he has no coolant.

basically i am just saying is that you are very late to agree with a possible solution when we are already passed that point of the forum
