Default Headlight/taillight combinations?

ok, difficult delimma here.

something I noticed with 96-97 Civics is that their headlights can start leaking. I saw quite a few around town that have crappy looking headlights, and sure enough, mine are starting to get condisation in them

Now, I'm wanting to go black housing, but I'm tempted to get projectors with the halos. Heres the point:

- Would the projectors look right with stock taillights (I have a 96 sedan, so I have the ugly tails )

- If not, would it be acceptable to have Carbon Fiber Altezza's with black housing projectors? (since the circular lighting would match front and back)

- If CF Altezzas are a bad idea, would Projectors look alright with Red/Clear tails?

- Or should I just get normal black housing headlights with stock or red/clear tails?

I know its all about my taste since its my ride, but since I'm at such an indecision, I guess I'll leave it to popular vote

I don't really mind having the stock tails as long as I have the amber strip in the headlights. That gives it continuity (I'm more about style than speed. Us LX drivers are kinda forced into it )

I dunno about the 99-00 tails. I like them, but not sure if I'd want to spend the extra money. Do they just fit right in w/ no moddification?

They use to run really high in the $600 range before, but now prices have dropped to as low as $4-420 or cheaper for genuine ones brand new.

Since you have the older model EK Civic, it might be even cheaper.

I currently am not able to get the CTR lights at the moment. Sorry.

there's a red milano 6th gen civic around these boards that has LS rims and blk housing headlights with red/clears. the clear part of the taillight is tinted. it looks so sweet.

no, the 99-00 sedan tails will not fit into your 96-98 sedan

i recommend u save some money and paint ur headlight housings urself, and if u want the city light i'm sure there's a way u can drill a hole into ur headlights and make some sorta of harness for the city light..

as for the tail lights, you can get some red/clears and tint the top or bottom half.. it'll match your headlights
