From the pics posted here my car looks the same, taken clean. Not sure if anything was cut, like wires and such. Still don't know what to do with it, it's at the impound lot. I have no place to put it, and so have to find someone who will rebuild the car and tow it there. Or if anyone is looking for a sleeper coupe and will offer a fair amount I will probably sell it and get this nightmare over with. I will take pictures too after I take it out of the impound, to share the pain.

 

I got $7000 from inurance. I bought a new car. I am planning on putting the orginal engine in the civic and selling it. Nothing was damaged.

 

How legit are they? Has anyone bought anything from them?

 

they are the best place to buy from. their customer service sucks ass but they are the best guys to deal with in terms of quality of the motor.

if you are throwing a new motor in there you might as well go for the GSR swap instead,

 

I've looked at the prices and complete swap with everything is 3200 + ship for the GSR. And 4000 for everything + ship for k20. I will not want to keep the car anymore so I would want to sell it to make my money back, at least something. Stripping it for parts is not going to make me enough money, I think I'm better off putting it back together and selling it that way.

What do you think the price that I can ask for a '00 Si say with a GSR engine in it and then k20? The title is salvaged.

My title is not a salvage title. I talked to insurance and they said it was not going to be salvage.

 

I already bought it as salvage.
