Small Ringing Noise when Accelerating
I have a '98 Honda Civic EX. it has about 105,000 miles on it. I have noticed that during normal acceleration there will sometimes be a ringing noise that comes from under the hood. It usually starts at around 2800 Rpms and ends at about 3500 rpms. However this is only during regular acceleration. If i am giving it alot of gas then it doesnt last long at all. IF anyone knows what this is and how to fix it, please let me know.

It's probably knock. Knock is bad, it's when the fuel/air mixture spontaneously ignites, it can damage your engine. I'd have the car tuned up soon, but first try running some 89 and see if it goes away. You might have just bought some bad gas.
