Default Help!! Lug Nut Issue

Do racing hart rims require special lug nuts?? cause i can't get my stock lug nuts to fit. but the wheels fit on the car, just can't get the bolts tighthened. there is no room to put the wrench into the bolts....help please!!

What wrench are you using to put on the lugs? Most likely, you'll have to use a thin walled, six sided 19mm socket to properly torque your lugs on the wheels. Or you might have to get those "tuner" lugs where the wrench goes inside, rather than the outside of the wheel lugs.

Yep, you need tuner lugs. Gorilla has em, but don't use their stupid 'locking lug' on each wheel. Just order extra regular lugs and go buy a 12mm hex-bit driver 1/2"drive from Snap-on for 32 bucks. I stripped out my original key (I removed my wheels quite a bit) pretty fast. You'll know what I am talking about as soon as you get yours.

you should use stock styed lugs for stock/oem rims
and aftermarket tuner ones like mentioned above for your rims

chris,
i think racing hart need a short tuner lug nut, cause of the center caps,,,you can not use any tuner lug nut, get the short one, cause you need space for the center caps,
