paint over fading cf hood?

when it rains, does your engine get wet cuz the vent is angled down or does it not have any effect???

the engines fine cause the vents at an angle.... all that i find is that if you wash your car immediatly after driving it and you spray water down there steam shoots out cause your getting your header.

Might want to minimize that as the bolts on your header will get rusty. I only have the hood on during the summer where I don't have to worry about the rain water getting in the bay.

i didnt think about the rust....... good point

my concern would be coolin them down too quick so they might crack.

That too. The thing I'd like to do is change the mesh grill that came with it and switch it over to something with smaller holes and in black (like a speaker grill from a boombox).

huh....... interesting... it would be a bitch to get the origonal grill off of that.... its basicly moldled into the hood on mine.... thiiiiiiiiiiiiiick glue or bondo.

but i could start looking for a massive grill.
