heh.... yeah... i agree with the red/carbon fiber contrast, im not thaaaaat too much of a fan.. i mainly got the hood for the vent....

and i would do that repair, but in like another 6 months have to do it again?

any quick estimates to get a hood paint matched?

 

You could always have a local body shop take the clear complelety off and re-spray clear coat.

 

Did you actually drill your hood to put in the emblem?

 

it came with the holes oddly enough... but i probably would have if it didnt

 

Just curious cause I had the exact same hood, but there were dimples (instead of holes) that were marked to drill for the emblem, but didn't have the courage to take a drill to the hood. h:

If you do paint the hood, have you considered painting the emblem black? The chrome kinda stands out like a sore thumb.

 

i drilled holes in my friends CF hood cause he felt the same way.... drills no problem.

and i like that black emblime idea..... i gues i gota find a shop and ask em how much its gonna cost.
