Car Running Rich, How to fix?

ok.. if you think you are running rich you need to start with the map sensor (manifold absolute pressure sensor) usually when they go bad the car wont run, but they will richin that bitch and you will drive like poop. you pretty much need to take it to a shop unless you have good test equipment (like a dso, or a graphing meter like a snap on vantage). rich also blows blue smoke

Replacing the rotor makes the biggest difference I've found. After replacing all those, then try the o2 sensor. You can get them cheap on sparkplugssource.com (Denso model).

my 2 cents says that if ur having the problem 30 mins into driving it has to do w/ some kind of sensor that is going bad i know w/most cars when they start to shut off once it has ran for a while it has to do w/ the crank sensor i don't know if honda's go them but the point trying to prove is that some sensors don't work once they're hot
