Default High flow Cat or Test Pipe?

Hey guys i have a 97 civic ex w/ like 105K miles on it, these gas prices are pissing me off and i think its time for a new cat. In a couple of months i'm planning on putting on a turbo, and i was wondering if i should go with a high flow cat. or a test pipe. Now if i go with the test pipe will that throw cel codes or no?

Yes. Dont do it, just leave your cat alone, it is seriously not worth it.

You are going to get even worse gas mileage with a turbo setup. And it will throw a code. Leave the CAT alone.

With the obd2 theres a second sensor right after the cat. If theres not cat there, it will throw a code something like "Catalyst performing under efficiency" or something.
