Default Low Idle....d16y8

Hey Guys, I Have A D16y8 Honda Civic, And Everytime I Come To A Stop The Idle Drops Dramatically, I Dont Know What Is Causing It, I Changed The Spark Plugs, And Wires And It Still Drops, It Is Currently On The Freaking Needle Holder At Zero, Help Me!!!!!!!

check your vacuum hoses... that are pinched, also if I'm correct I'm sure that problem is worst occurs at a quick stop after hard acceleration right? I mean as it almost shuts off... RPMS low as 250,300rpms.

You guys know that the bottom line on a stock tach (above 0) is 500 right? It is impossible to determine that you rpms are between 0-500, plus I don't think you car would stay running at those levels.

Your IACV is attached to your intake manifold. You just un-bolt it, spray the screens with brake cleaner and clean them so no gunk is on them, and re-bolt it.

When my IAVC was dirty, the car would have alot of jerkyness going on everytime I would step on the gas. After I cleaned it, it ran smoothly again. It didn't do a single thing to help the low rpm after a hard brake. I think its mainly just a weak motor because there are no vacume leaks of any kind and it never dips right onto the first line from the 0 but, very close.

u may want to check your engine timing (timing belt) my d16y8 started doing this and shortly after timing belt stretched and i trashed a motor
