Making D17A2 super engine!!!
Oh I see said the blind man....Well in that case Turbo or supercharger would be best bet unless your going to do internals. I would swap it if you come across a cheap B series block. I actually have my old B20 block being machined and ported now. Need to buy a rex to throw it in. LOL I had a 87 Crx Si with a blown 1.5 but we had a nasty storm 2 years ago and a 30 ft Pine tree decided to test the durability of lil rex and he lost. Is that a little more profesional Han style advice for ya.

its been done and right now we are seeing about 250whp max on a stock block. then pistons, rods, headwork, sleeves and cams are needed. then youll need AEM EMS because nothing will give you a good tune unless you go with emanage and then with the build you cant raise your rev limiter past 7k. so EMS is the only way your going ot do that. these guys are right the d17 is the bastard step child but people are starting to make more and more for them. check out www.dezod.com as well they are manufacturing a lot of parts for the d17 including a couple of nice turbo kits. but your best bet is a k20 swap and boost. it will cost abou thte same as the d17 build and put out a lot more power.
