Default tools needed to remove inner door panel?

I'm trying to fix my window rattle in the inside. It only happens while the window is most of the way up. Can anyone tell me what tools I need and how exactly to take the panel off? This is for a DX coupe.

I unscrewed the plastic screw near the front of the door, and I felt the panel move around a lot when I tugged on it, but I didn't wanna risk anything.

Well for a DX, I removed the window crank, the door handle, and the plastic that goes around the door opener handle (does that make sense?). Then there should be a screw that's near the front of the vehicle and just pop the door panel up while pulling towards you.

Oh yeah, I tried to pull the window crank, but I didn't wanna break it. and how would you remove the handle and the cover surrounding it though?

For the window crank, put it in a lowered position and there should be a slight cutout. It's only held by a clip, so a really small set of pliers (almost like tweezers) can pull that out. And the part that opens your door, you only need to take out that plastic trim around it, not the handle itself.

and that just pops out via flathead screwdriver, correct?

Then all that's left is to pop up and out?

for the window crank just use a dish towel, it will push that clip off a lot easier than trying to snag a pliers in there.

No to get the clip out the best thing is the dentist like scraper tool. You know that stick with hook on the end? That thing does the trick great.

I just used a flathead screwdriver and it popped out like nothin. The part I had trouble with was that damn door handle/lock thing. I couldn't pop that surrounding piece out. I thought I was gonna break it. I got the rest of the panel stuff off, so the only thing holding it in was that mechanism and whatnot. can anyone tell me how exactly to get that thing off?

a rag, you short of floss it in there and it will pop it out. I only suggest it because it is more convenient to find a rag than a dentist scaler like 4gh suggests.
