Maybe etmoron was joking? I dunno. See his handle for further details.

Anyway, no one knows how to pop that handle-surrounding piece of plastic out?

once you get the handle off therea are a few screws and it slips off...

how would I go about getting the door handle off though? I'm lost on the entire inner door handle situation. step-by-step, anyone? anyone?

take the screw out
slide the whole assembly toward the front of the car
pull it out slightly
there's a little clip that clips to the bar in there
get a flathead screwdriver and push it toward the outside of the car. it rotates so it will come off when you push on it

then, lift that bar out of the hole it's in

That's it.
