Default Not to warp head when removing d16z6

Is it true that you can warp a head by removing it improperly? Sequence in taking it off?

Any help would be cool. Taking apart my d16z6 in the morning.

I don't know about when removing the head. I know overstressing the head bolts and studs when putting it back on can damage the head.

NO!!!....unbolting sequence has alot to do with not warping the head...there is a specific way to undo the head....99% of the time it is reverse of the tightening order, but sometimes it is its own special sequence to keep equal pressure .

:hay: Scoob... I sent you a PM because I knew you'd know what's up. Can you check your PM and get back to me? If it's not a good idea to PM you I won't, but my gut told me to, and look what happened. lol I was right.

There IS a proper way to take it off. I have a pdf. of a manual for 92-95 Civic. I'll refer to that. It's an 80mb file, but I'm sure I'll find the sequence.
