I read in Honda tuning Mag. that you can bolt on a vtec on a dx? I have a 98 civic dx, its slow just for show right now, anyway does anybody know how to wire it, or what I need to do, to get it to work?

for the guy that said no...well hes technically right but...yes you can bolt up a vtec head onto a non vtec block..its called a mini swap...its quite easy and cheap if ur not really looking for power... search
how much power would that give anyway? i'd figure it'd be better to just sack up the money for a b16a if you want vtec anyway(overrated). plus, wouldn't you need to have the vtec solenoid and the ecu from the doner engine?

Yes you'll need the ECU and the selanoid assembly is on the head of the engine not the block.
