I know they're faster than my car, I'm not debating the speed. I'm just saying it's not entirely practical. It's my belief that if one wants to turbo a car, they should do it so that their engine will live to tell the tale. All in all, it's not something I'd do myself.

i have a 96 dx coupe and im looking for ways to make it 15 sec. i thought about juice but i like the idea of having constant power so turbo sounds good. what kinda prices are we looking at and what are some key points i should consider when boosting my near stock motor?

I'd probably throw a SOHC turbo kit onto my D15 if it were manual instead of auto, just for kicks. I'm more scared of the tranny blowing than the motor.

Is it really worth it to you though? how much does an sohc turbo kit cost? If it's a lot less than a b-series motor, I'd be somewhat swayed, but prices on B16a's have been low lately. I'd go for a swap before turbo. But again, that's me.

greddy turbo can be found for 1250 brand new. and on a vtec sohc at 6psi it would own a b16. intercooled vtec should run with gsr hybrids. 12psi should have a dx atleast into 13s.

It can burn me all it wants to, but what happens when I'd boost that b16a? muchos muchos speed. muahaha.

And yeah yeah, I'd be spending more money, but I'd also be getting more power so

yea, sorry my misunderstanding.
