Civic or Integra?
Hi I'm new and just 15. I've always wanted a 2nd Gen. civic hatch, but also an integra. If I were to get a civic should it be a non-vtech then drop in a b16a, b18c, or h22? Or should I just buy an SI? Also if I were to get an integra it would probably be a gsr. What would be the best car with which engine? Remember this is important because I want my first car to be packed with power(I want to go forced induction).

Well, given your age and location(moreno valley is a shit hole, theives everywhere, i know i used to live there myself.) I would go with the 92-95 eg civic hatch. for one your insurance wont be through the roof and its less likely to be stolen, which is a serious problem for us honda owners. as far as your first car being packed with power that might now be the best route for you to go just yet. i know you want to drive a fast ride but, inexperience + a fast car can end your life really fast. I would suggest that you get the si eg(92 - 95 hatch) it has a little bit of power and its a good base for moding, perfect for a new driver. the integra is an awsome car but, its highly desired by theives, especially modded gsr's and type r's and even the used ones are kinda expensive. Go with the civic you wont be disapointed, and later on when your driving experience and age increases you can go with and integra or better. However, the ej hatch is a hell of a fun car to drive, its small light, nimble and very forgiving.
agreed ^^
power (even though it is very tempting) can get a new driver into A LOT of trouble... not even when regular driving. but from personal experiences, when your young with power you HAVE to show it off to your friends. in the parking lot pulling out of highschool, or on a main street on sat. night... your going to rev up, mabye peel out here and there. but trust me, the foolishness WILL catch up with you. and sooner ot later your going to end up hitting a car or even worse, a person. i'v had friends hit cars by accident doing things like this. and im sure youve seen clips of that as well on the internet.
but back on topic... yeah 92-95 eg is a great base car to start off with. i did, and i love it even more now that i'v done various things to it. i'd say worry about handling first anyways. anybody car rev up, throw it into gear and take off straight. but not many cars out there can handle those on and off ramps of the freeway at speeds you'll be able to with upgraded suspension. now im not talking about street racing here, before this thread gets canned... im simply saying taking a corner or two at a higher speed than normal is a lot of fun. feeling those sideways G's lol.
and if you feel you eventualy want more power, or a GSR... thats the beauty part. you dont gotta buy an integra for it. just swap it in, and go from there.
i ramble on too much, lol. but hope this aids in your decision.

get whatever u can afford.... i had a civic when i got my first car and that thing was decently quick... after a b18B swap and custom turbo setup... *Remember Civics dont have power...so dont expect one to have a lot*
but thats what i could afford at the time..
if i could have, i would have bought a 94+ integra... just a better baseline for modifications overall... atleast in my eyes...
but like i said, whatever YOU can afford... modifying cars is a headache in the long run... plus shit breaks all the time...
basically, if u can afford an integra go for it,your insurance WILL be higher... if u can only afford a civic, then go for that... in the end man you are the one driving the car and not us...
