i'll put it to you like this. go out and do some research on how engines work, find out the diff. in a MT and shifting you AT, and get a life. then come back to HAN and post a question that doesn't make you look like a jackass.

Why so mean? we should help him. If people were mean like that to me when I first got into cars/hondas fuck, i wouldve walked away or messed something up in my car trying to do it myself. Yogurt, check out the sticky sections at the top of this forum, read up and start to learn. Have a fun time delving into the workings of a motor, transmission, suspension systems, intakes, headers and exhausts, nitrous, turbos, tuning, and everything else.

the d15b2 is a bit of a sour motor. skinny rods, poor flowing head and the honda special pistons. not the most ideal motor to modify, but doable. doesnt the b2 have the dpfi instead of the mpfi setup? the motor aside, that transmission is going to be a big drag on power and reliability. honda autos are alright when in stock form, but when u start pushing more and more power to the wheels, something will break and being that both ur motor and tranny arent known to handle gobbs of power it will be one or the other, most likely the trans.
i would either sell the car or do a manual swap. if your looking for something right now that can handle plenty of power stock and have balls stock, get an old supra. like an 87 turbo version. there all over the place here in ohio under 100k and around 3k. the 7amgte (not positive) has been known to see 400 hp on stock internals. (a car which i plan on buying this summer)
if honda is ur cup of tea, ditch the auto and turbo ur d15. when it shits itself swap in something else. honda engines are getting cheaper and cheaper as people start to flock to the k-series motors like retards to a waffle house.

The misinformation in this thread makes my head hurt. Nitrous is perfectly safe for your car, it's like any other sort of forced induction, it needs tuning.

The "shot" rating is generally referring to a horsepower increase. 50 shot will you give you about 50HP, 100 shot 100HP, etc. Personally, I would not do more than a 40%-50% increase in power with stock internals or a stock transmission as the integrity of these components will be compromised.

Yeah, I do agree. Also, FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. If it says change the timing, DO IT.

Usually retarding the timing is a good bet on any FI motor

Retarding timing is gay, go to a race track and steal some 100 octane racing fuel and call it a night
