isnt the jdm b16a2 obd1 and the usdm b16a2 obd2?

there is no JDM b16a2. it is a b16 2nd gen, and it is obd1. and the USDM b16a2 is a obd2

yea i didn't think about having the shop get me the engine, but I dont' know I am really scared when it comes to my car. Wouldn't it be safer if I went with HMO? thanks for you advice guys. Ill be sure to post pictures of before and after.

maybe, maybe not. if you go through HMO you will get everything that comes with that engine. civic axels, civic shift linkage, ect. but when i went through my local shop they got me the correct parts like teg. axels, and the del sol b16 linkage which is almost impossable to find BTW. so you do what ever you fell is right for you but i came out alot better going through my local shop.

lots of people recommend them to get motors, i would of gotten it from them but ended up getting one from a local shop for a lot more

I would go with hmo Unless your shop can get it cheaper. Its nice to suport a local shop like that but alot of times local shops are ALOT more expensive. It wouldn't hurt to check it out though. HMO is a realiable shop though.
