Default Stroker kit???

what exactly is a "Stroker kit"?? and is it possible to turbo an motor with a stroker kit ,and also is it worth it?? I dont know much when it comes to that ,

a stroker kit basically increases the displacement of the motor. im not too sure though.

Yes, but more so... A stroker kit increases the circular diameter at which the crankshaft spins at. The increase in diameter provides more low end leverage (torque) at the expense of crankshaft speed.

to help understand this... picture a 6" ratchet and a 2' breaker bar. The breaker bar (equivalent to the stroked crankshaft), will provide more torque since it allows for less work to be done in a greater distance span. On the other hand the 6" ratchet (not-stroked crankshaft) provides much less torque since a greater amount of work has to be done in a smaller distance span.

so that basically stops the motor from revving high???

but then you can still rev as high as normal and thus putting down more power??

honda motors are made to rev high. stroker kits are not going to do what you expect them to for the money you are going to pay for it. just build, turbo, and tune.

see thats what i love about honda motors!!! but my friend (a real mitsu person) said that a honda motor will never have more hp than the evo motor, so i was just trying to find out how many different ways thats possible

Yeah, he is right. The Evo starts with a hell of a lot more, so if you go mod for mod, the Evo will always make more power.
