Default park brake handle

..... ok... i searched for a long time... and i guess i must not know the combination of words to use to find this out cause it has to be posted....... but im changing my park brake handle....... and so am i just yanking as hard as i can on the old one? or do i have to cut it? my muscles are tired from yanking the pole...erm.... the brake handle...

I used a vice grip to twist it off when I had my 93 Civic Ex. MOst people just cut it off.

ive been whakin away for a good hour now...... the thing looks like a dog chew toy..... how am i supose to be cutting it?

Yeah, me and my buddy pulled as hard as we possibly could. Also a little trick I picked up from changing out motorcycle grips is to spray hairspray on the handle when taking it off / putting it on. Helps a bit.

Use a dremel or other rotary cutter.

wellllllllll...... i did it..... i bought a dremel and drilled the f**k out of it untill it was no longer recognizable.... and then i slid it off when there was only 3 inches of plastic clinging onto the metal bar underneath..... i woulndt wish this upon anyone. my car looks like an angry black birds nest.... every inch is covered wish shavings.
