when i did it in my ef i went from the top....

 

This time the shaft splines must not been lined up. So trying to hold it up and not put pressure on the shaft, get a bolt started and spin the tranny through the CV hole makes for one tired person. I had to get a CV joint in there and turn the flywheel with a screw driver. What a pain.
But it's on. So add another 5 hours.
